More About Carole's Past Professional Experience
After law school Carole joined the Virginia State Bar as the Local & Specialty Bar Relations Coordinator, promoting VSB member relations and providing resources and guidance to the 130 local bar associations across the Commonwealth.
Carole then served as Director of Marketing for The McCammon Group as the Virginia-based firm grew from 7 mediators to over 40. She developed and implemented The McCammon Group's marketing plan including marketing materials, website development, advertising, sponsorships and mediator announcements.
Before founding CYT Consulting, Carole was with Troutman Sanders, an AmLaw 100 firm with over 750 attorneys in 15 offices. As Senior Manager for Marketing & Client Services, Carole collaborated with attorneys and practice teams on their individual and collective marketing initiatives. She handled the production of marketing collateral, client proposals, press releases, website postings, advertising and client events. She also oversaw business development efforts such as client seminars, competitive intelligence research, and the client relationship management database.
As Troutman's Professional Development Manager, Carole was responsible for the firm-wide mentoring program and the internal attorney training program, which offered over 50 courses and 2500 hours of CLE credit annually. Carole promoted the in-house CLE courses as an important business development tool for the attorneys and a much appreciated benefit for their clients, plus created significant cost-savings for the firm.
